Nine ministries to build a Nation
HEALTH & HUMAN SERVICES
The Ministry of Health and Human Services (MOHHS) is responsible for the health and well-being of the members of the Nation of Islam, registered and non-registered alike; physically, mentally, emotionally, spiritually, as individuals, families and communities. Health is defined as that state of being of the individual and his family and community that is the fulfillment of the ultimate perfection that is the intention of the Creator.

In his lecture entitled After Difficulty Comes Ease (May,6, 1984) The Honorable Minister Louis Farrakhan states, in part, that "whenever God sends a major prophet into the world, He always deals with the people's diet."
